This etching is based on a series of photographs taken during a road trip to Colorado in 2014. It won 3rd place in the Austin Community College (ACC) 40th Annual Exhibition (2015).

Hand-pulled print, signed on a premium BFK Rives paper, 100% Cottom, 300 GSM.

Etching is an intaglio printmaking process, where a copper plate is etched in acid. The aquatint process follows as the second step, used to achieve the halftones.
